.1. When you arrive you’ll see 2 column. Content & Comments & some Instagrams to the right. Click LOGIN.
.2. Username, Password, & if you like, “Remember Me”
.3. This takes you to the “Backend” of MU/Talk. So called because it’s a place where viewers don’t go. Only contributors see this. But MU/Talk is designed to be fast & easy, so we can actually click VISIT SITE and go out to the public “Frontend” and post from there.
.4. Now that you’re logged in, you’ll notice the Frontend has 3 columns. To post you just click in the “Whatcha Up To?” box and type.
.5. You can leave a status update or question or rant. You can also drop links. If you want to add a video, just grab the URL from Vimeo or YouTube and paste it here. In the little box underneath you can add any Tags you like.
.6. The one thing you can’t do from the “Whatcha Up To” box is something you might want to do: Add a photo. For this you do have to go to the Backend. So click NEW > POST
.7. Now you’re in the “normal” WordPress edit window. Give it a title. Type Stuff. And hit the ADD MEDIA button to add your photo(s)
.8. You can add an existing image from the “Media Library” which probably isn’t what you want, or click UPLOAD FILES instead.
.9. Then you can either Drag & Drop an image, or click Select Files to navigate to the image you want.
.10. After you publish your post, or when you’re reading someone else’s, you’ll notice if you mouseover a post, 3 little grey icons appear in the upper-right. If you mouseover one of them, it’ll get darker. The 3 icons are:
• **Link:** *URL for the post*
• **Arrow:** *Leave a comment on the post*
• **Pencil:** *Edit the post*
