Everything is Part of Everything Else: Two Parties

There are two parties at Low-Fi and Edie’s Farm the weekend of September 12, in honor of the work people have been doing, are doing, or just want to try to pull off on the spot. This is a semi-casual gathering for SL artists, performers, and friends to enjoy our dreams and process. Please bring a finished or in-process work to show or discuss. If you have an installation at Low-Fi or The Farm you can “show” that. This is a low pressure but hopefully interesting forum for all interested.

    • Saturday September 12, 7pm SLT
    • Sunday September 13, 9am SLT

    Location:  http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/LEA28/211/85/22

If you plan on attending and need anything special, please leave a comment below or contact Newton (lex.perdide) or RMarie Beedit (rmarie.beedit)

Thanks Newton. It hope to attend the Sunday morning one.

Most excellent Neeva. Also be advised that if you want to show an installation at The Farm that can be a “performance” too.

I would like a five piece orchestra to accompany me while I juggle and do a rope trick.

    Low-Fi Meeting Saturday

I’m putting out feelers for rescheduling the Low-Fi weekly gathering for Saturday 9/5 at 9am rather than Sunday9/6 at 9am. It is  a 3 day weekend in some places in the northwestern hemisphere and my typist is whining about keeping Sunday open.

Saturday would be okay with me. Either one will do.

Very well! I wil send an announcement posthaste.

If you have dipped your feet into the UX Design, you’d know that everything requires time and a lot of planning. Nothing ever goes without a well laid down plan which is revised over a million times. And for obvious reasons, you must have the right head start, something you can fall back on even if you get distracted in between. It would help if you had a well-laid down brick that can hold everything together and flexible enough to make changes.
As you get deeper in the field, you’d understand that the entire website’s creation is very time-bound. You have deadlines and the client expectations to meet with each website or mobile application that you create. More often than not, you’d have clients who have no idea about the UX design field, and you’d need to explain them in simple terms. While this can be a considerable challenge, the right tool can make all of it a thousand times easier.
