Hello, My Name is Bryn
My name is Bryn Michaels.
I am 15 years old.
Turning 16 in 3 weeks, on October 13.
Dancing is my life, it’s what I want to do for the rest of my life.
I’ve been dancing since I was about 4 and I love it. To me dancing is my life, it’s what I want to do for the rest of my life. I want to be the best I can be so I can become a professional ballet dancer.
Ballet to me is freedom.
It is a language without words. In class it can sometimes be hard to really feel that freedom. Everyday classes are very much based on working on technique. But just being able to dance is my dream. To preform. To be the one people go to see. To be my best.
I have 27,876 followers on Instagram… WHAT?!?!
Social Media
I also want to talk about social media and how it’s had an impact on me! As I’m writing this, I have 27,876 followers on Instagram… WHAT?!?!
It’s crazy to me: 27,876 followers! Don’t get me wrong, I love it! But I’m no celebrity. My Instagram has kinda changed a lot in my life. Like:
• Taking ballet pictures, ok. Next step:
• Getting a fancy camera. cool! Next step:
• Getting emails from professional photographers… WOAH!
I’m so incredibly grateful for every opportunity I have gotten! But it’s crazy! I never thought this could happen! It’s just amazing how people ask me questions and sometimes freak out if I like their pictures on Instagram! Do I want to expand my social media? Hell yeah I do!
In all honesty I would love to do vlogs and stuff on YouTube!
Do I have the time for that?
No 🙁
Creepers!
Vanessa talked about me trying more media, and I would love it. But then there are my parents who get worried, and I do too, about the creepy people lurking the Internet. Even on Instagram alone I get some super creepy people. Would I want to do an Omegle find me thing? Or have a big Skype video chat with followers? Yes!
Are there super creepy people? Yes!
I would love for people to feel like they know me personally. I’m a very open person (that can be bad sometimes!)
Parents
I thank my parents so much for everything they do for me! They are the ones funding my dream and sorta making everything happen. How else would I get to dance?! It’s not just that, it’s also that they put up with my craziness. They make my life so great!
Ballet is Freedom
I’m so grateful to you Vanessa for this opportunity. I’m nowhere near as good as a writer as you but I gave it my best!
Love, Bryn
