Welcome to MU!

Welcome new Student! We’re so excited to have you join the MU Campus Community. All Students receive an Artist’s Studio to work at. You can use this studio in any way you’d like. Put up work in progress. Showcase past work. Rez a house. Or a jacuzzi. Or a thinker’s chair. Or a microphone for your chorale work.

You can rez up to 150 prims on a permanent basis. You may also rez more prims on a while working basis. Please be sure to derez those prims when you stop working for the day. MU will do its best not to return student prims, but if the university prims overflow, we will have to return prims, starting with whoever has the most out. Be mindful of any no-copy items you rez and be familiar with using your lost-and-found folder.

Note that MU is a No-Fly, No-Teleport, No-Skybox campus. We know that all of these things have many benefits and great convenience. But they also drain the life from a city or a university campus. We really want MU to be a place where you’re work is out to be seen. A place where Students, Faculty, Staff, and Guests walk the streets of our virtual campus viewing, interacting, and creating virtual community.

Pick Your Studio!

Students can choose any Studio space that’s currently open and use it till 30 June 2015. You can select from this map. You might also want to visit the University campus and walk around before choosing. Each space affords a different vista and may inspire you in different ways. When you’ve decided you can inform Isabella Medici by in-world IM or Notecard, or by email.

    1. Hello Paypabak! “Here” is an ok place to post a notice if you like.

Another, and perhaps even better place, is MU / TALK!
      http://MediciUniversity.co.uk/talk

We’ve just set it up. If you head over soon, you can click “Register” and join by yourself. We’ll only be able to keep that open a couple of days before the SpamBots find it and we have to close the “Open Registration”, but if you get there after that, simply message me with your email and I can add you.

I hope MU / TALK will be a fast & easy place to share information and ideas, to check in with each other, and compare notes. We’ve already got 3 or 4 “Creative Writers” and 2 or 3 “Bloggers”, so you should find peers there!
