Catching up with old friends. Meeting new friends. Whining about what still doesn’t work in SL. Noting that like a Survivor champion, poor SL has outlasted every “superior” attempt to dethrone it. They can be modest. And thoughtful. Paying attention is the most valuable thing a fleshvatar or an avatar can do. And then we cleaned up the lunch+frog mess and headed over to the sandbox for the afternoon session of Haiku Speedbuild. Every now and then a VR Public Artwork has had a huge turnout. Often they’re smaller. Avatars come and go as suits their schedule and interest. This Luncheon was a modest but lovely affair. After being gone for 3 years I have to be pleased that anyone showed up at all.
